Uncle E and Grandpa

It's been pretty busy around here and I haven't had a chance to blog much. Uche's dad and brother came to visit us two weekends ago and it was their first time meeting Zoe. This is always fun for us. We love seeing her interact with friends and family for the first time. It's especially fun now that she smiles all the time.

Unfortunately it rained the first day of their trip! We spent most of that day shopping for Zoe. Yes, they blessed her (and us!) with a new cd-player for her room, a travel feeding seat and several educational toys that she'll be into in no time. Thanks guys! We ate at Red Lobster (yum!) and kicked back with a few episodes of The Office, season Two. On Sunday we made it down to the city and walked around a bit. It was a beautiful day! The sun was out, the city streets of Chicago were lined with the most gorgeous tulips, and Zoe behaved remarkably well. The rest of the trip was spent hanging out and, well, watching some more of the Office (Uche and I are now hooked). It was a good trip and we are thankful that they took time out of their busy lives to visit us. I know it will mean a lot to Zoe when she grows up and realizes just how loved she is by her family.
