I need help. How do you transition a baby out of the swaddle? Zoe has a love-hate relationship with it, fighting it since day one and yet needing it to sleep. Lately she is discovering that she's strong enough to fight through to free her hands. This would be ok if having her hands free meant she could self-soothe and fall asleep. But it only distracts her and seems to drive her crazy. I've tried to leave her without the swaddle to see if she would fall sleep eventually but she only gets the crazies when I do. So I'm confused. What do I do?! Help from any moms out there, please!

Oh Mel...I HEAR you in this post. not sure if you've found a solution yet - I hope you have. It took a while for Noah to move on - it seems like SO LONG AGO that he absolutely NEEDED to be swaddled and I couldn't imagine him being swaddle free. But now he is definitely swaddle free and pulls himself up to standing in his crib. Yikes. a whole new predicament.
If you are still trying to figure it out, gimme a shout...xoxo
