Blanket

Most of you know that I know absolutely nothing about sewing. I can't even claim to "just sew a button" as I don't even do that. I just don't know my way with a needle and thread and haven't taken the time to learn. Until now...sort of.
My friend Stacey introduced me to the easiest sewing project around! A simple baby blanket! Basically the project consisted of picking the fabric and sewing two pieces of material together with a sewing machine. While I could have easily bought another blanket, I decided to attempt to make one while hanging out with Stacey one day. It was a lot of fun! And the blanket came out great, for a newbie. I don't know that I'll go much deeper into the world of sewing, but two pieces of material sewed together with a machine for the sake of my firstborn child? I think I can handle that.
